Everybody shops for different items. What they buy and from where is usually based on how good it is and how much it costs. Be it from your TV to your coffee in the morning if it works then your happy. When you buy cannabis, you want the best like in everything else.

Cannabis is grown in many places and in many countries but there are a few that have given us the best weed that money can buy. One of the best strains originally came from Acapulco, known as Gold because the color of the leaves had a yellow and gold tinge to them. The THC level was quite high, it gave you a good buzz and was in high demand for not only the product itself but also the seeds so people could grow their own plants.

North America may not seem to compare with other climates that could grow Cannabis better but the demand and the resilience of this plant makes it possible to have your own little garden of fun.

In Northern California there is an area called the Emerald Triangle where a few individual gardens turned into a thriving business that produced some of the best pot around. It turned out to be the biggest producer of good marijuana and with the area being so secluded and a climate that helped; it became an industry (Though still illegal).

Even though at this point America still frowns on Marijuana, there are many who believe the medicinal uses as well as the recreational aspect of it can be compared to alcohol. If legalized it could be regulated, taxed as well decrease the criminal benefits. Other countries have found the legalization of marijuana has not only decreased crime but has increased their countries revenue. In Holland they have areas where it’s legal to buy and smoke a joint with no recriminations from the law.

One of the countries most associated with cannabis would have to be Jamaica. The countries climate is well suited to grow some of the best herb in the world. Though still illegal, smoking ganja is a big part of the country's culture. The Rastafarians believe smoking the herb opens your mind and makes it easier to meditate. Unfortunately, Jamaica has received a bad rap for being so dominant when it comes to cannabis. It’s getting to the point where some people think that the abundance of pot in this country is the only reason one should go there. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Jamaica is a beautiful place and has must to offer the visitor. Marijuana use and cultivating is not an epidemic but it is an important part of the culture. It must be remembered though it is still considered illegal in this country as well.

These are but a few of the most commonly known places where cannabis is often planted by seed, but that doesn’t mean that these locations won’t be open to the new strains that are being developed almost on a yearly basis.
