Growing cannabis indoors is a quick and convenient way of getting marijuana or hash. However, it does not allow you to get too many product as you will need relatively large spaces and much equipment. It is not easy process, but it will let you get all the necessary cannabis for medical and recreational use one person may need. Especially, if you do not grow too many plants that may look like manufacturing for further distribution and is not tolerable by law in barely every country.

First of all you will have to get the seeds somewhere. If you are a beginner, I would advise using cannabis indica seeds, as it's easier to grow in home conditions than cannabis sativa. Next thing is germinating the seeds you've got. It is not obligatory, but pretty useful. It would be a nice idea to get a personal greenhouse with heating. That will make your job easier and can be used after that for plants other than cannabis (salvia divinorum, for instance ;)). After that the seed or the sprouts should be planted. Be sure to plant them no less than 0.9 - 1 meter apart as the plants will grow and bother each other.

All plants require light. You might use some substitutions of natural sun light. But prepare to pay large energy bills, especially if you grow cannabis in massive amounts. As we are now learning how to grow not too large amounts, 250 watts hps lamp would be enough (covers 6 plants). You'd better buy lighting with timer as sometimes it must be turned off. Containers for cannabis are standard and do not require any modifications. Soil and nutrients also do not differ too much from what you can get in the gardening store or locally, however do not forget to sterilize soil and containers if you do not want to fight the bugs for the rest of your life. Next thing that each plant requires is water. Cannabis originates from India and Middle East. So it grows better in rather dry conditions. Do not saturate it.

One of the most important thing in growing pot process is flowering. In this process male plants produce pollen that will fertilize female plants. That's how you will get seeds for further planting experience or sale if it is legal. Remember, some strains of male plants are useless for smoking. You have to try before you know.

Harvesting cannabis is what we were expecting through all the process. You need to do it when cannabis buds have the most potency. It's difficult to find the necessary day as the potency peak may last even for hours. Don't forget, you may always try rubbing the plants and getting some hash. Just be sure not to damage the pot too much if you do not want to go through the process all over again.
