Hash oil is derived from the cannabis undergoing the same process that hashish is, but with continual repetition of that process. I am going to teach you on the real method of producing have oil from the leaves of the cannabis plant. Take note that if you are using a flower female plant you will find an end product at least five times the strength of oil produced using the leaf of the plant.

The leaf of the plant contains a low percent of the active ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol. Upon extraction, it will be mixed with a larger percent of ingredient. On the other hand, cannabis plant converts into the more active isomer tetrahydracannabinol by means of natural acids within the plant itself. By the isomerazation, we will help nature along by converting the cannabidol into THC.

A list of Lab ware must be used including 1 condenser 300 MM jacket, 1 flask, Florence flat bottom, 1 separatory funnel, 1 funnel, filter paper and a list of chemicals that you will need. This includes Ethyl methanol or wood alcohol, sulfuric acid; toluene, water and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).Take note that the easiest to find solvent for the extraction of the THC from the plant matter is denatured alcohol which is ethyl alcohol that has been made Poisson with methanol. This chemical results to abnormality leading to blindness. Don’t even dare to drink this stuff.

Proceed to the steps: Dry your plant to a state where it will crumble into a fine powder TIP use your microwave oven, heat the plant matter for 1 to 2 min at a time then let it cool, until it dries up completely. Let every thing cool down to room temperature level. Add one drop of sulfuric acid per 50 ML solvent used. Replace your condenser to your flask and heat to reflux once more for 4 more hours. Let every thing cool to normal temperature level. Take note that alcohol will have a dark black color at this point; it will seem to be almost thick. Balance the alcohol with sodium bicarbonate. Once it stops fizzing you will have a neutral solution. Seep through the solvent from the plant matter with the use of your funnel and filter paper. If you are going to be doing a lot of oil production you should get a filter flask, aspirator and a blucher funnel. Add more water as you have alcohol extract. Add 1/3 amount of toluene as you have alcohol/water to your flask. Combine all this well for 30 seconds. Use your separatory funnel to separate the two layers. The toluene/THC layer must be on top surface. Make sure that the bottom layer is a light green color. Vaporize the toluene/THC layer till you can no longer smell any trace of toluene. When the toluene has evaporated you will have left in the bottom of your glass baking dish black oil with a slight spice smell.
