Hashish (literary means “Grass”) is commonly known as Hash. Hashish is process of preparation of cannabis composed of the compressed stalked resin glands called trichomes, collected from the cannabis plant. There are very active ingredients with higher concentration in hash. It is normally in solid state or it can be in paste like substance and it also can be soften under heat.
Hashish can generally of many colors like green, black, reddish brown, or most commonly light to dark brown. It can be consumed just like cannabis buds.

The preparation of marijuana and cannabis are just like hashish. The effect of hashish are same as marijuana .Although some form of hashish produce body stone and some causes head high .hash is generally black, brown or blond but if it seems to be looking more greenish than it consist more green particles . Fresh hashish of good quality is soft and pliable. Hashish color usually reflects the color of the plant material.

It is found in research that Hashish can cause problem to human if it is consumed daily and it also can increase the existing problems of a person. Hashish does not cause Adulterant.

Low quality hashish is prepared from less pure trichome. The smoke and ashes of burnt hash should be light-gray or white in color and if not than the material is contaminated.

Hashish is traditionally produced in warm condition. Charas is the name of hashish that has been hand-rubbed directly from the cannabis plant which is primarily produce in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The most popular and sought after form of charas is produced in the tribal areas of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan. First, cannabis resin is placed on a large heated mortar, and then the resin is threshed with a heavy object. The result is a very gooey, sticky black hash. This method is mostly used in villages around the Hindu Kush mountain region.

The form of hashish differs from nature and making process. The essence of hashish becomes stronger under heat although it becomes soft. Some species also produce from it orange, but it is rare.

There are various ways to consume hashish like Miniature smoking pipe, Bong, Hot knifed, Bubbler, Hookah or sheesha (in India),and many more. Generally, hash is also consumed by mixing its joints known as blunts. A piece of hash may be ignited by cigarette coals or other means and placed inside a container, such as a plastic bottle. The smoke that collects inside can then be inhaled. This technique is referred as “Bots”.
