How to make hash 2

If you are an experienced user of cannabis or you own a plant at home and want to have another, more convenient way of using and storing it, you surely will be interested in hash making. Hash is actually an extract of cannabis, so it contains much more THC than marijuana and less dose is needed. Also, a possibility of oral introducing appears as chewing fresh or dry leaves of marijuana is not too pleasant, but hash can be mixed with honey or anything like that.

The easiest way of preparing hash at home is sieving marijuana. For it you will need a silk screen with about 100-250 lines per inch and dry marijuana. If you want a sustainable amount of hash powder you will need pretty much plant. Actual hash powder is about 10-20% of all marijuana sieved. So when you have enough of it, you may press it into pure hash or use it however you wish. Actually, the more sieves you use, the better is the result. It's clear that the order should be: from biggest to smallest. However, there is one pitfall – be sure not to grind originally big marijuana particles into smaller one or powder. You won't get the pure hash – particles of plant do not contain such amount of THC as resin does.

The other nice way of making hash is rubbing a living plant. Originally, it is the oldest way of hash making, some scientists believe that is how ancients learned about cannabis psychoactive qualities. You will need to have gloves... and some (better more than one) cannabis plants. Rub the plants during the day, better in midday. Use much force, but be careful enough not to damage the plant. There are several tips for this method of getting hash. First of all, try to avoid being distracted by anything. Always take of the gloves if you have to do something other than rubbing cannabis, but I would advise doing anything else until you are done. Secondly, when you are finished, it's better to put your pair of gloves in plastic bag so that no micro gram of precious resin is lost. Finally, put the bag into the freezer for several hours. After that it will be easier to collect hash from your gloves. And one more thing – be careful when pressing the collected hash. You don't need to do it if you plan to store it for less than a year. You may rub your plants again as soon as new resin is produced. Be careful and save your time – you don't want to spend hours working and get too little hash as a result.

These are only the easiest methods of making hash. Others that include using special hash bags and other equipment require more knowledge and efforts. Those methods, however, help you to make hash purer. They will be highlighted separately in further articles. I hope that this information has been useful for you in your cannabis practices.
