Medical cannabis is the other form of marijuana. Marijuana contains a chemical which is synthetic and it is known as tetrahydrocannabinol, which is also called as THC. This chemical presented in marijuana often used for various treatment purposes. Countless medical conditions use THC in order to put this in the terms of medicinal values.
From the past decade, it is seen that various countries have approved and made the use of marijuana legal as it is said that the presence of marijuana in medicines help in eliminating or treating various diseases, including cancer and its unknown viruses. Besides treating cancer, marijuana is also used to treat the symptoms of influenza and HIV. Some countries have denied and have not approved or legalized the usage of marijuana in the medicines. According to some medical experts, the consumption of marijuana does not give any positive impact but gives negative impact towards one’s brain. It spreads in the body of a person and then directly spreads the brain and stays at one point, resulting in various disorders. Recent studies reveal that the consumption of marijuana does not affect the parts of the brain but also the ligaments and pharynx. The United States Food and Drug Administration currently reviewed that the intake of isolated compounds, such as cannabis or cannabinoids is more effectual than the consumption of tobacco, meaning cigarette smoking.
The Beliefs:
It is believed that the cannabis help in treating vomiting and nausea, can help one gain weight by treating weight loss (in some patients, however this theory has not been proved with any appropriate evidence), and anorexia (or hunger problems).
The Theory:
The possible theory and the evidence indicate that the cannabis help in treating various diseases and it has been proved. Some of the diseases are movement disorders, asthma, and painful conditions such as neurogenic pain, etc; spasticity, and glaucoma.

One of THC's medical uses is for the treatment of nausea. It can improve mild to moderate nausea caused by cancer chemotherapy and help reduce nausea and weight loss in people with AIDS. Some conditions also indicate that cannabis can give relief in pain and can be used for treatment. However, these conditions are not at all confirmed but are just mere conjectures. The American Marijuana Policy Project performed clinical trials and it revealed that the efficacy of cannabis in the form of treatment or cure for AIDS patients and cancer patients give negative impact. This was done to the patients who are the victims of depression or clinical depression, or the ones who lose weight during chemotherapy, including other aggressive treatments.
