Most people that have any interest or knowledge about cannabis knows the outlook of the law. At least in most countries it is considered illegal. There is a common saying though that there is some good in everything. Can this concept be applied to cannabis in any of its many forms?

Some innovative individuals have found some intriguing ways for the use of the cannabis seeds themselves. It’s ironic although a country will ban the pot and the other various forms of cannabis, but they will allow the sale of seeds. It doesn’t make too much sense to sell something legally that can be easily turned into some illegal. Then who are we to question the motives of the Government’s right?

So for purposes other than illegal uses what in the world would one do with cannabis seeds? Use them for education. Often non-users of weed are curious about it. Not just in the effects, it gives but its appearance as well. There are variations in marijuana seeds so why not set up a display. Perhaps in a glass case with a notation about where each variety comes from. You could add to this some of the paraphernalia that goes with the cannabis such as bongs, and bubble bags, or even some papers. It may be a good idea to seal these within your display case. Just so there’s no misunderstanding of your purpose here.


Naturally, before you use cannabis seeds for any purpose you must be sure that the grass in this form is legal where you live. Otherwise, it won’t matter what innocent purposes you may use it for if you are caught then you are in big trouble. In places where the seeds are legal, many birdseed manufacturers will include hemp in their mixture. According to some bird experts, the birds will devour the cannabis seeds first.

Not too many people realize that there are actually beneficial nutriments to be found in the pot seed. It’s loaded with chlorophyll which makes it magnesium rich and oh yes don’t forget the protein.

For the craftsperson that is always, looking for new and innovative ideas the cannabis seeds can provide a new medium to work with. Again though if you are going to be using the seeds as a filler for example, you want to be sure the seeds are legal. If they aren’t and it appears that you are concealing them then once again you are opening yourself up to be charged with possession.

Many home items such as specialty pillows and beanbags for example are filled with items such as rice or various beans for example. Ideally, you could replace these items with the marijuana seeds for some great variety in texture. If this is a bit too pricey then try mixing them with the other fillers.

Then if you wanted to be really creative think about being a cannabis artist. There are a multitude of ways of using the cannabis seed without it having to being illegal or for sinister reasons.
